Sustainability at Bo Andrén Group
At the Bo Andrén Group, we take a group-wide approach to sustainability — environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations are embedded in the way we run our business, rather than being a separate function operating alongside it. We report in accordance with European sustainability reporting requirements and collect data from all our companies via a shared platform, enabling us to monitor the bigger picture and develop together.
Traceability is central to us. Our products are registered in established environmental assessment systems and can be traced from forest to home — so that customers and construction projects know where the timber comes from and how it has been produced. This is a foundation we have built over time and continue to strengthen.

Anna Schyman
Sustainability Manager
Our sustainability work is based on international principles, including the UN guidelines. We are not content merely to meet minimum requirements: we want to stay one step ahead, as regulations are becoming stricter and customers, projects, the environment and communities are placing higher demands on us and our entire industry.
As an international player, we take responsibility for the bigger picture. We work to reduce our global carbon footprint whilst contributing to the communities where we operate. Through close collaboration with suppliers and partners, we work to ensure fair working conditions, local development and a value chain that takes responsibility for both people and the environment.
